I want to donate my old stuffed animals. Where can I do this?

I have a bunch of older "loved" stuffed animals that I would love to donate. I can't bring myself to throw them away. Is there any place that would except them. I saw a previous post that mentioned firehouses, police stations or this website mentioned a address in Irac to donate them but it is a year old.

Goodwill or any other thrift store would love to have them.  I am with Red Cross and I personally buy toys for kds that have lost their homes due to fires.

I recommend police stations- there are many cops that keep toys in their cars for small victims...  I would also recommend truck drivers if you know any.  When my parents drove and when my husband drove long distances- they kept blankets and toys in their trucks so that when they ran up on bad wrecks- they could help in that way.  You may even try a homeless shelter or a women's shelter.  It is kind of you to donate those things.  I hope they find a good home.

yes  the police station would be a good place too drop them off... alot of times kids moms and dads get taken away cause of drugs and abuse and other problems... and kids have to be taken too foster care and police want to give them a lil something too make them feel better... before they leave i think its a good idea... your so thoughtful for doing this most people just throw them out not thinking theres kids who can use them good luck on what ever charity you choose.....

call them that would be great but you can really donate them anywher police stations. fire houses, goodwill, homeless shelters, care centers. hospitals

Goodwill will accept them and sell them and use the profit to further good causes too.

Try to set a deal with a local orphanage, or go to different churches and ask them if they could give them to children of needy families on easter.

If this is not possible, then donate them to the salvation army.

Or... do a nice garage sale with these and other stuff you don't want anymore and donate the money to your favorite charity.

IF there is a local homeless shelter, u can donate them there. there are lots of kids that come there so the stuffed animals will b put into good use
