I want to donate some time & money to a charity. What's a good charity I can donate to & promote? Thanks!?

Habitat for Humanity is not exactly a charity. People have to work to build their houses and then pay for the materials. OTH, much of the labor is donated and there's no interest on their mortgage so it is charitable.

If you're too young to build (an insurance thing), you can plant flowers in the yard, paint the mailbox and do office stuff for the affiliate.

A Time For Veterans  is a Non-profit that provides no cost mental health and emotional support for Veterans and their Families

Check them out.  You can donate through the website or contact them and see what they need.
