I want to drive me and my family to spain, does anyone know how much it will cost in fuel?

Hiya my dad drove down from the uk about 3 years ago and i think it cost him around £200, but u need to take in to account that if u drive along the french motorways they are all toll roads and if u speed (like my dad did) they fine u.They know u have speed as they time u through each toll.

From the uk you will need to fill up 3 times and pay over £40 in tolls to the border if you use the motorways.

It depends where from and to where... Calais to Malaga is approx 1200 miles - 30 mpg @ 4pound per gallon... Approx 160 quid!

It is approximately 2000 miles so work out your miles per gallon.

The dearest part of your journey is going to be France where petrol is really expensive and toll roads are a crazy price. So plan France well as you can go on secondary roads which run parallel to the tolls but are free.

I did the trip from Ireland to Marbella last year in a Fiat Punto 1.1 and it cost me about 300 euros.

Also did it in a Merc 300 auto and it cost me about 800 euros so your price will be somewhere in between

it depends how many people there are in your family, how fast you dirve, what route you take and whereabouts in spain you are going
