  1. Driving licence and 18. (car rental need more sometimes)

    The only problem is that 98% of the cars are equipped with manual transmission. And for american people it's very hard.

    Roads (excepts highways) are narrow, and  French is irritated at the wheel.....

    And a middle car in France, it's the size of VW GOLF. Audi A4 is a "big car" !!!!!!

  2. As long as you have a full license it shouldn't matter.

  3. 21.  Although you can drive a car in France (French National) at 17 - with various restrictions, you have to be 21 if you're a Brit.  Also, no insurance company would consider insuring you under 21, and balieve me, you don't want to know the penalties for driving uninsured in France

  4. Old enough to drive

  5. Old enough to drive !

  6. 18 for driving in france !=))

  7. if you have a driving license. et voila then

  8. older than 18 i guess!

  9. If you have a UK licence you can drive over there - but be careful and check the laws for driving there - for instance you have to carry a warning triangle and spare bulbs by law, but you don't in the UK.

    Also, you'll have  a very hard time trying to rent a car if you are under 21 - maybe even impossible, but if it's your own car no problems!!
