I want to dump Aaron Harang. Any ideas?

He has been a huge bust this year. I'm in a 10 team points league. Give me a sleeper who maybe under the radar.

Don't dump Harang yet. He hasn't been as big a bust as you think. He's more like Matt Cain was last year-- a guy with good numbers that loses games because of a lack of run support. His injury caused him to pitch some bad games lately, but he has the potential to come back and pitch like an ace. Look at all those guys who dumped Verlander... they're kicking themselves now.

As for sleepers, Josh Johnson of Florida is one to watch. Kershaw gets called up today for the Dodgers. Wandy Rodreguez, Paul Maholm and Mike Pelfrey all have good numbers.

I've been monitoring Geo Gonzalez(Oak,AAA)and David Price (T.Bay AAA)..Also F.Liriano is mowing down minor leaguers.

Other possible waiver wire guys I'd dump Harang for are D.Bush,M.Garza,and S.Baker.(Harang is on my DL,and I've been having the same thoughts as you.)

EDIT: I doubt Harang has much trade value,,even packaged

up.Tiexera would be nice to acquire,but his 2nd half prowess

is well known.I have Tex,and I know I wouldn't give him away cheaply.Also,the fact that he's already heating up doesn't help your chances of getting him.When offering trades you should go after players with good track records,but at the moment are ice cold.Almost to the point where their owners want to get rid of them.Victor Martinez comes to mind...

Make a package deal and try to get Teixiera, he has been hot recently and statistically always has a HUGE second half.

manny parra from milwaukee seems to be consistent and should receive a lot of run support from a team that has power from fielder, braun, cameron, and the speed from hall, hart, and hardy. he is posting a 9-2 record with 87 strikeouts and a 3.68 era, he should be available in most leagues and he doesnt seem to be slowing down.
