I want to dunk!!!!!!!! plz?

i need like 5 in to dunk!!!! can any one that can dunk tell me a quick way to jump a little higher i have like a month to be abal to! plz help

  1. Plyometrics. They will give you the explosion you need. But don't go to fast or you will hurt yourself. You don't want to blow out your knee because you want to dunk next week.


  2. Working your calves and quads alot and jumping over hurdles and with ankle weights.

  3. Forward lunges, squats , jumping with a weighted vest

    use the back board, touch it as high as you can record your spot.

  4. I dont know why you will ever "need" to be able to dunk.  

    But to answer your question, try time after time after time on the courts.  Keep increasing your vertical.  Remember to use a ball when dunking too!

  5. Hit the weight room hard. Do squats and deadlifts as your two main focus lifts with a couple complimentary lifts like step ups, leg curls, romanian deadlift, lunges, split squats, etc... Remember to be explosive on every rep, that is the key to lifting for sports. If you lift slow, you won't be able to utilize the strength you gain in fast actions like jumping and sprinting.
