I want to dye my hair blond.. But I've used box color for a few years now!!!?

My hair is naturally blond, But for the longest time i have been dying my hair brown.. I have only used box color.. The color is fading and I want to go back blond. I set up an hair appt. and they told me it may not come out right because box color has metallics and whatnot. Is stripping your hair bad? And will it work?? I really am just tierd of having to die my hair and i want it back the way it was so i dont have to dye it anymore.

by stripping ur hair, it will work. stripping ur hair is ridding ur  hair of any pigment , therefore making a light colour possible. u can never make ur hair a lighter colour WITHOUT stripping it... it is impossible. u can only go darker. however, it is very damaging to ur hair, it makes it very weak and and easy to damage.... so i suggest that u cut ur hair after u strip it. (at least an inch)

You should go to a salon and  get all the color removed from your hair then you can dye your hair blonde .

Just go to the salon and ask them to strip off all the color in your hair, then dye it blonde. I did it to mine last year and it was perfect for a while before I decided to dye my hair again, and I'm a natural blonde.

Just ask them to do the best they can with your hair i did this a couple of times to my hair turned out a darkish blonde but i went back for a second time and it look fantastic
