I want to dye my hair blond?

I would like to dye my hair blond. Thing is, I don't want to strip my hair bc it is very bad for it. My hair is chocolate w/caramel highlights, but the color is growing out. Will I even be able to go back to blond or am I stuck?? It isn't store bought dye either, it was done at a salon. Thanks!!!

  1. if the roots are lighter, then you will probably be able to go back, but if you are worrying about stripping it, i would definitely try and stay within a few shades lighter or darker than your natural...

because there is no way to avoid stripping your hair if your trying to go super light...

if you want to go to something different than you have now, do a light brown, or a carmely brown. hope this helps :)

  2. ok bot make it like hannah montana's [Miley cyrus] hair that will look good on you

  3. I suggest you go back to the salon. Maybe you should just get some highlights, that is very popular now a days.

Anything you do to your hair whether it's blow drying or coloring, too much of any of those can be bad in the long run.

Make sure you use plenty of conditioning products to keep your hair from getting too dried out.

Let your hair dry naturally some times and one great thing to do is drink plenty of water and take your vitamins daily. You will be surprise how quickly your hair can grow taking vitamins.

Oh and since your hair is dark, the highlights will not look as bad when it grows out than if you went with getting your whole head colored blond...

I've colored my hair since I was 16, I'm 55 now and still have all my hair.

    Good Luck...
