I want to earn a decent amount of money. nothing digusting?

well, i love doing hair and make-up and doing art. seeing as i cant do much with that as i am thirteen i was thinking more of a receptionist or anything ideal which isn't to far to get to from where i live.

For a start, you aren't old enough to earn a diesent income and the few legal jobs are jobs like paperboy. Your best bet is to get a degree in things like Beauticians have or if you are considering more of a receptionist, IT skills are a must.

I don't think anyone is going to want to hire a 13 year old receptionist. it doesn't look professional. doing hair and makeup is a less formal job so you have more of a chance getting hired doing that. go to a beauty salon and ask if you can start as a hair sweeper or something.

Be a mommy's assistant.  You can baby sit, or help around the house with chores.  Moms would love to be able to nap, or run errands, have someone to help fold clothes, clean up the kitchen, pick up toys, make beds, even if they are at home.

I don't think you can be a receptionist  at that age. I would suggest something much more simple like babysitting.

Working in a grocery store is belive it or not a really good move for someone your age.  They are flexible with hours, pay is decent for a 13 yr old. and there is alot of room for advancement.

Maybe you can work at an art museum as a tour guide or an assistant at a beauty salon. I would ask and see if they need any help during the summer.
