  1. Why don't you try to do an exchange with a French pupil/student of the same age as you? He/she can stay with you for a month, and you go and stay with them for a month in the following vacation.

  2. the best way for free accommodation in your travel???

    besides, i recommend u a new way of traveling~~~

i think home exchange is the best way, save money, try original life and make friends! Here is a site I strongly recommend where i have wonderful exchange experiences, enjoy it!

    www.allhomeexchange.com

  3. If you are under 18, you can join an educational teen travel. Most programs will cost you about  $4000 including airfare but it's only about 2-3 weeks long. It's cheaper if you go to france not during the summer, maybe autumn.

  4. Try visiting Aix-en-Provence which is a very old and historical city with a large university population. Its cheaper than Paris.

Not that Paris is as expensive as many people think. it is one of the most reasonably priced major cities in Western Europe.

If you can demonstrate legitimate status as a student you can have access to CROUS and the accomodations and student cafeterias that this organization runs. (http://www.crous-paris.fr/ )
