  1. have you checked your local library?  They have die cut machines there and I know our library has a cut out of a flower.  A flower is simple to draw if you can't find one on the internet - or just put in flower coloring page in your search engine and up one will come.

  2. Go into a search engine and put "coloring pages of flowers".

A really great source would be coloring books, too.

  3. Take a paper plate and have the children decorate it w/ tissue paper, sequins, glitter etc and add a stem an a leaf.

                                                  OR

Use a paper plate to make sunflowers.  Paint the childs hand yellow  put their hand on the plate all around the edges in the middle make brown dots and add a stem and a leaf.

  4. why dont you try pbs?????

  5. Be creative, let the children design the flower! Design is a demanding activity requiring high cognitive challenge, the hallmark of quality early education. Bring as many pictures of different types of flowers, details of the type of environments they grow in. Use a world map or national map if you get the chance. Never to early for geography, biology, and other earth sciences. Work in a group at one table or on the floor. Show pictures, discuss shapes, colours, growth. Is it a big flower? where could it grow? what will we call it? Jot down their ideals so children can review their ideas, planning is an activity that can be indirectly acquired and helps the child to organise their understanding and behaviour

  6. Use some basic early learner coloring books. You can get them at the .99 cents stores.  Also a cute and inexpensive project is to use green pipe cleaners, green paper leaves (you can draw them and cut them out as a pattern) paper cupcake holders and fill the middle with beans.  Paste on colored paper.

  8. I like the previous answer of letting the children design their own. Give them round objects to trace or paper plates and show them pictures of flowers. Some children can draw their own flower. And I am always amazed at the child who draws one that really looks like one. Others are just proud of their creation. Enjoy the time with the children and don't expect perfection, just enjoy watching them create and being happy with their flower.
