I want to find how many moles of water were produced from the decomposition of 15.0 grams of H2O2.

so far i know the balanced equation is 2H2O2--> 2H2O O2

  1. 2H2O2 → 2H2O +O2

    Molar mass H2O2 = 34g

    Molar mass H2O = 18g

    34g H2O2 will give 18g H2O

    15g H2O2 will give 15/34*18 = 7.94g H2O

    7.94/18 = 0.44.moles H2O
