  1. maybe there are agencies for that, but be careful, good luck

  2. you could go to ancestors.com it will cost some money but u will find his name and stuff about him then you can look him up on white pages

  3. Wow it actually bothers me that this is not a priority of your mother's. You are not the only one in that exact situation. I too never met my dad and unfortunately my mother is deceased to offer any real info. What i would do if i were you would be to obviously look through the white pages and call 411. If his name is not the common try googling it by it self and then google it with the town he may live in. Write a reputable talkshow also with you story. All else fails you may have to pay for the service from one of those companies. Good luck!

  4. I've tried doing the same thing. What I've tried is trying to find out where he might have worked because then they usually have an address so you could try finding out where he used to work.Or you could try google him by his full name and stuff and then they usually have a place you can put most of the information of the person and then they give you a list of people that could help out as well.Hopefully this helps.

  5. maybe try the courthouse..they have all those files

  6. Just stop trying. If he wants to find you...He will.

  7. Maybe You can go to the police and ask them to find him or you can use another organs. When you find someone you think that he could be your father bring him to your mother without telling her anything and see what her react is. I hope you find him

  8. I wish you luck:

  9. Contact an adoption agency or association,

and they would be the right persons to direct you.

Don't expect from others, this is now your job.

  10. I think your mom has a Birth Certificate, so take a look at it and you might know some relevant information. Hope helps!

  11. You can start looking on the internet there are plenty of records you can find.

  12. Start by asking your mother more information, like his age, or even his birth date. I was able to find my father and my grandfather using www.ancestry.com, it lists their last residence, and shows their birth certificates. Also, you can call the operator and see if your father is listed, and you may be able to find him that way. City hall might be able to help you as well, good luck, I truly hope you find that missing link!

  13. Maybe father doesn't want to be found and your mother knows this. You may not like what you find. But ancestry.com does sound like a good place to begin. And yes, it does cost. I've been doing genealogy and visited the site, but was disappointed to learn that public records cost money to see online.
