Honestly, unless you have a very special skill that few people have, you're not going to be able to make things in your home that you can sell for a profit. You'd be better off focusing on the skills you already have, and seeing how you can use those skills to make money.

what about doing something like being a independant rep for Lia Sophia jewelry or something similar.

I know Lia Sophia is really popular right now.

Might not be what you are looking for but I have a friend who has 2 little kids and it works great with her.
