  1. As of two years ago, Air France allows you to have a small pet in the cabin when flying in business and first class.  This rule or its restrictions may have changed since then, so it would be a good idea to check their website =]

  3. As a rule of thumb, no. You'll have to check with the company you're flying with but big pets (bigger than cats) are a no go and even cats acceptance on international flights are not a given. Once more it all depends on the company. Air France, for example, won't accept an animal heavier than four kilos. At 14 pounds your dog is twice that.

  6. as far as i know only lufthansa and swiss air allow pets as heavy as 8 kilos (17 pounds) including container.
