I want to fund raise...-by going door-to-door..Im fundraising for WWF --any tips to give for it?

You should be officially authorized by the charity with some sort of badge or ID confirmin your status.  You should have pamphlets available with information on the charity including their website, their Bd of Directors, how much of the charity goes to good works and how much for expenses, the type of work they do and whether you can direct your giving to a particular enterprise in WWF.  You should be able to issue a tax receipt for a charitable donation.
