Question:

I want to gain weight....?

I am currently 106lbs and 5'5 at 19 years old...and i would like to put on a few pounds without weight gainers...any suggestions

  3. Always take bus, never walk. When you come home from work sit down at that couch you have and NEVER get up. Make every night a movie night. If there's no-one else in your house to cook for you (and even if there is) order takeout and be sure to order something like hamburgers or even doner. Doner is 50% oil.

    Cakes, chocolates, pies, ice-creams, sweets are all a person's best friend. You can either buy ones with organic ingredients (so still healthy in a sense). Try getting hooked on E numbers (although this isn't really health).

    My one true advice is to exercise less and to eat more. Did you just eat a plate of rice and you're full? Well then you can eat another half a plate at least.

    Also if you have friends from cultures like Turkey and Greece always talk to them about feasts (Meze in Turkish and Greek). Who knows, maybe you'll get invited to one. Or if you stumble upon an open bufe the ideal is still the same, YOU should be the last one to grab food and your ultimate mission is to finish the whole food at the place (How else can you say "I loved your food so much I had to eat it all!")

    Anyway, just do the opposite of those trying to lose weight. Eat more calories, exercise less.

    And if it doesn't work out (if so then you'll have to lend me your metabolism for a few months!) then go to a dietician.

    Last but not least you can also try crash dieting to lose weight because after you stop the diet you gain twice as much as you lose. But I don't think this is healthy...

  5. Oh man, I'm in the exact same situation.  Eating more doesn't help.  I've been thinking about adding protein powder in my food.

  6. Nothing puts weight on a person faster than ice cream.

  7. Eat a lot of protein, drink milk, and have iron and calcium. Take vitamins, too. Good luck!

  8. In the mornings have a whey protein shake with a supplementary hardy breakfast. Having three large meals and snacks in between can also help.
