  1. Are your ears already pierced?? If not when you get them done tell the piercer you want to stretch them (you stretch your ears btw, not gauge...gauge is a size not a verb, just helping) This will change the placement and I would get them to use a 10ga or 6ga needle to begin with. After the piercing though...buy some tapers online or at hottopic or something and get some plugs for each size up until where you want to be (you can buy them one or two sizes at a time so it won't cost so much.) GO up one size at a time 20,18,16,14,12 and so on, once the piercing is completely healed (at least a month) put some clear anti-bacterial soap on the taper and pus it through small end to the thick end until it is almost even with your ear. Then take the plug or ring or whatever you're using and and butt it up against the taper and push it through...secure it with O-rings or s***w on the balls or whatever. Then just treat it like a new piercing, wait a month before stretching and clean it with sea salt water. Email me if you have any questions.

  2. You should probably research the previously asked questions, rather than ask something that's been asked a million times.

  3. First off, it's called stretching your ears, not gauging. To get started you will need to go and buy 16g rings or something of that nature. Put those in and leave them in for about three weeks. Then go out and get the next size up, which is 14g. Keep going up in size about everything three/four weeks at the least. When you get to the bigger sizes (10g/8g) you may want to buy tapers. Those help a lot when stretching. You just put the taper in, and slide it out and then immediately put the jewelry in after it. Do not wear the tapers as the jewelry, it's not what they're for. If your ear hurts or bleeds at all, you're doing it wrong and should immediately down size and wait a few more weeks to try again. To make it easier to stretch you can do this right after a hot shower, which loosens the skin around your earlobes. Keep them clean w/ sea salt soaks, and don't twist them or anything. The most important thing I can say is NEVER SKIP SIZES.
