I want to get a HP Pavilion Artist Edition DV2890NR and i don't know if its really that good?

Question

i`m buying one and my mom wants me to get a really good one

and i`m gonna mostly use it for photoshop (many pictures)

and before i get it i want to know if its a bad choice

It's a good choice but you really have to list the specs. It's not the laptop maker or look that tells if the laptop is good or not but the processor, memory, and battery it has. They're okay but there are better ones out there.

I have personally owned two HP laptops and have had great experiences with both of them. We also use HP desktops at work and they work reasonably well. I would recomend thier products to anyone. I too plan to buy a dv2000 series over the new dv4 because I like the design better. I still always sugest that people get an extended warranty because you never know. Anyway good luck.
