I want to get a Romanian Visa. Im a filipina, How can i get one?

My Romanian boyfriend wanted me to go there in Romania as soon as possible. How can i do that? I have my passport already but dont know how to get the visa. Im here in the Philippines. What should i do?

Go to the Romanian embassy and find out what are the requirements. Try also to get an official letter from your boyfriend stating the reason why you are visiting Romania.

As usual, make sure you have some cash. Some show money makes things a little bit faster in Manila.

Before applying for a visa, you will need to have a official invitation from someone in Romania (i.e. your boyfriend). In this invitation the person that sends it must also mention that he is willing to cover the costs in case you have to get deported.

If you get a short-term visa, upon entering in Romania you will have to prove that you carry at least 500 euros ( or their equivalent in other currencies) - to show that you are able to support yourself for a few days in Romania.

Also you will need to have medical insurance and proof that you have some kind of accommodations arranged.
