  1. get a his name cuz its better than a chinese symbol and you can get it  in do manny ways

  2. lol i think she meant she is getting one OF him not giving one TO him

  3. Your son isn't old enough to make a decision. What makes you think that he would wont one? You are his mother not his owner. Lay off the baby with the needles and the dye and THINK MOM!!

  4. I would go for his name. It's a winner every time.

  5. Either his name or the symbol for family.

  6. oh that's sweet...hmm i have a couple tiny design may be it suits for your son

  7. I'm chinese, and you should go consult people who are practiced at this. And chinese characters often make sense only when paired and rarely make sense on their own

    For example:

    the word : 主

天主 means god 主人 means master.

I'm not really sure if this helps but these words are generally not negative:

幸福 or 福 on its own means luck, and is commonly used during Chinese New Year.

    樂 means joy

and I can't think of anything else at the moment.

    愛 means love

And there was this really famous warrior back in china once called 岳飛 and his mother tattoed 盡忠報國 which means something like serve your country to the utmost and he grew up to be once of the most loyal people of all time.

Still, remember to go check with someone who speaks chinese FLUENTLY and does not learn it. There can be slight errors for people who are not entirely fluent in this language as it is very complex.

Still go ask people what the word means before

  8. Dont give your child a tatto!!! What if he doesnt like it?... Let him decide when hes older if he wants one or not!

  9. well there are alot of things to factor in here, like where it is going to be, color and such..

My frined just got one for her sister, and it is on the back of her neck saying angel, in black. Not my choice of placement but hey.

I would say do something simple.. and make sure it has meaning to you. Something such as the chinese symbol for son, or december.. or even angel!

I would stay away from a name, it may be more then 1 or 2 symbols!

  10. Maybe have the characters for his name and the Zodiac animal that represents his year together.

  11. Maybe a symbol that represents him, such as an emotion or verb. Make sure you check multiple sources. I can't tell you how many times people have tattooed a Chinese symbol on their body and it meant something totally different.

  12. here is a really good web for tats
