I want to get a job in Cozumel, Mexico. What is available there?

I am currently a Canadian citizen and don't really care what I do. Of course something that paid more than less would be good...

You must have an FM3 visa with a work permit to work in Mexico...verydificult to get and usually are granted only for highskill, badly needed professions.  Unemployment is high in Mexico.No way cn you get a work permit for a low skill job..  You must find an employer who will write a letter to immigration stating that he is hiring youfor a job he cannot find a Mexican for...he must sponsor your work visa and then the visa is tied to that specific job.  Wages in mexico are extremely low.  Almost all jobs pay less than the equivilent of $2.00 an hour.  Many Americans express an interest in iving and working in Mexico...but it just is not realistic.  It is much easier to retire here when you have an income and do not need towork.
