  1. Well maybe you should pitch yourself a little different when you get down to the interview make sure to tell the person that you understand your lack of experience, but on the other hand that you do not lack social skills, let the person know that you are not shy and enjoy meeting new ppl, and that you are outgoing and things like that.

  2. Start small try fast food or offer to be a host/hostess even a bus boy, then you can work your way up.

  3. Keep trying. Law of probability. You only ever fail when you stop trying.

  4. Apply everywhere within walking distance of your home.

You are qualified to be a dishwasher, but there is no better job for starting out in food service.

    Good Luck!

  5. all restaurants always needs dishwashers, so apply now. jobs is waiting!

  6. first i would look into the restaurants in your area. you will have a much better chance getting hired at a corporate restaurant than an independantly owned restaurant.

also, start off by applying as a hostess or a busperson so that you can get a feel for what the establishment is like. after you have been there for a while you can always change jobs to be a server or bartender.

if it doesn't work out that way, at least you can use your hostess or busperson experience for another job. just don't quit on bad terms so that you can use them as a reference.

  7. Do not mess up your entire future by inventing false experiences.

Very simply there are times when every line of work has so many people with good experience that employers do not need to employ people with no experience. When the economy picks up there will be jobs for people with no experience, simply because employers are not getting enough staff if they insist on experience.

I know it seems like a catch 22, but no, giving preference to experienced people starts to work in your favor after you do get some experience. Just try until the economy picks up enough that you can get a job without experience.

  8. create a resume tailored to the job your looking to work at. in your case its a restauraunt so as a reference use a professional sounding  family member or friend..mk sure you mk the buisness you worked for a private sm buisness make all the things you did at the fake job suited for the restauraunt such as cleanng organizing seating charts etc etc

  9. try McDonald's I know it doesn't sound all that appealing but it is good experience. You might also want to apply for anything available instead of a specific job, you can at least get your foot in the door and move up from there

  10. Sorry to state the obvious but you need to find some prior work experience. Fast food, retail, anything. Any experience is better than none.

  11. gah what restaurant position are you applying for? They hire everyone

Also you can just lie, just say you worked for a place the next town over but it closed down.
