I want to get a landline , tv and broadband but who shall i choose ? ? ?

I also live in a cabeld area i have lots of bad things about every provider so i dont know which one to choose . Please give me some HONEST answers and why you think i should go with your chosen provider. Thanks for all answers

get verizon fios.  trust me, comcast is too expensive.  verizon gives you cable tv for $42.95/month, comcast is around $55.  you also get 200 channels on verizon and 75 on comcast. their internet plans are around the same, but verizon has faster upload speeds and the speeds are more consistent b/c it's fiber NOT cable. so you get your own line, you're not sharing with your neighbors.  did i mention that comcast blocks certain programs and charges you or cancels your account if you download too much? verizon doesnt do that. trust me.

as for phones, both are around $45/month for unlimited calling, but verizon is better in my opinion beause it's NOT voice over IP, it's an actual phone.  thus it's more secure.

you're dumb if you don't go with verizon fios.

however, if you can't get fios, i'd personally get verizon landline + dsl and comcast cable. don't get satellite tv/direct tv.

ps, they both have "$99/month for a year!" but comcast's price then goes up to $150/month and verizon goes up to around $110/month.  and you still get more channels on verizon and NO TRAFFIC MONITORING!

BT BBopt3 wireless home hub  router and modem -connects with xbox ps wii everything. Free wireles phone for cheap intnl calls and e + w uk. Norton ANti V and Fwall included. 5gb online storage 11email. Unlim use and unlim openzone mins. 18.99

BT vision - no subscription - 80gb hard drive recorder plus download o/d films u cant get on sky virgin plus options for tv packages.

Altogether 30pm first 6mths 36pm after 18m contract.

This includes LINE RENTAL!!!

BLOKE BELOW - bts expensive?? i just said 30 then 36 thereafter. And your saying £51. If u want setanta u can pay for the package pay as you go monthly. With vision its flexible so u only pay for the stuff u want to watch. Better than payin £51 or £60 and not even watchin the tv.

i would say virgin media.

i get free calls to landlines 24hrs, i get the fastest broadband, and the largest tv package (with setanta free for a year) and it costs me about £51 per month. i got installation free too. i paid £30 deposit but it came off my first bill.

don't go with BT, my cousin was with them they are so so expensive.  i used to work for sky television and their prices werent so good but ive never took a package with them so i dont know how good they are.

I have BT because I am not in a cable area. However I am disappointed because I was not informed from the day that I inquired to the day I signed up that; BT vision wont work in my area and therefore had to pay to have an ariel  installed as well and use my old free view box. Had I have know this I would have been forced to have sky and still pay the £11 for line rental through BT.  My first choice would have been Virgin media

I am a Sky engineer and I will personally not say that they are good or cheap (for their Broadband) due to contention ratios etc and a lot of other technical reasons.

The cheapest broadband package that I have found is at

The reason that it is so cheap is there is NO BT LINE RENTAL to pay on top of the cost of the broadband (which is really cheap anyway) and they also give away unlimited free calls on some packages - WELL WORTH A LOOK!

go to this website, put in your address, and see which one has the best deal in your area!!

remember, we in the US gotta take" WHO" is in our area, not the other way around....if you're lucky enough to have several then you have a really good choice....!
