  1. Could you give me some more information so I can answer your question?  What do you mean by "legal description" I have never heard of that before.  Perhaps you can hire a lawyer that is in the area of the address you want looked at and the lawyer can give you the legal description.


  2. The County Recorders Office, the County Surveyor and usually the Tax Assessor all have "legal descriptions" of properties.  The title, or deed, that is viewable at the Recorder is the one that is typically used for legal proceedings regarding a property.

    Start with the Tax Assessor, from the address of the parcel/property they can provide the parcel number and usually the name of the current owner.  Use that information at the Recorder to see the most current metes and  bounds description of the property.  The Tax Assessor, the Recorder and the Surveyor might all a parcel maps for the property.
