I'm currently not in a country where i can get descent skates for a price that isn't totally crazy (way too expensive). so I'm having a friend get them for me and send them (lol not as crazy as it might sound).

my shoe size is between 8 1/2 and 9, i wouldn't mind it if they are slightly uncomfortable because they are just for recreational purposes. And i don't know if i should have skates for the same size as my shoe size or bigger or smaller.

-and I'm talking about the good kinds (not the cheap ones)

-i know this doesn't go under hockey, but i thought you guys (hockey players and stuff) would know.

Any information is appreciated.

  1. "Recreational" (moulded plastic boot) inline skates actually fit a little bit bigger than your regular shoe size.

"Leather" (hockey style) inline skates: Mission fits close to your actual shoe size, Bauer and CCM usually 1 size smaller.

Keep in mind though that you (according to your aviator) wear women's shoes and skates are usually in men's sizes.

Best thing to do would be have a friend who wears the same shoe size as you try some on and hope for the best

What country are you in anyway?
