Is this true because i dont know my dad & have no idea how to reach him, even though i dont think i'd want too.

( I asked this question before but i stuffed up in the extra details so im trying again, sorry anyone who answered.)

  1. As you're under 18 you will need to apply for a child's passport which needs to be completed by "a parent or other person with a parental responsibility for the child" no requirement for both parents.

You will also need to have one of your photographs signed by a guarantor, such as your teacher, doctor, priest etc.

  2. Here in Canada we have to have a professional like a priest, rabbi, lawyer, doctor or CPA sign our documents, check with the passport office in Sydney or were you live as to the requirements, you parents may have to give there consent, but there may be other signatures for the forms and pictures to prove you who you are and they must know you for a period of up to 3-5 years.
