A purity ring, people. She's making a commitment to save s*x for marriage. A lot fo stores ahve very pretty options, you can go big scale like a regular jewelry store, an independent plce, even stores like target and whatnot. You might actually wanna look at an antique store for soemthing really unique.

When I was younger, I just bought a band from the mall jewelry store and had a scripture engraved inside.  It's just a ring. There's nothing different about it.

Most people call pre-engagement rings given by high school boyfriends.

Just go to anyjewelryy store, the idea is to have something on your hand to remind you of your promise to yourself. It isn't any particular type of ring, you could get any sort of reminder you want.

your never too young for a purity ring. I don't even know your age anyways. lol.

I hope you aren't getting one JUST because your friends have them.  A purity ring is suposed to a decision you consciously make for your own.

That being said it can really be anything you want it to be.  Go to a jewelry store and see what you like.

For future reference with questions etc: promise ring is usually a pre-engagement ring given from a boyfriend to a girlfriend.

As far as being too young... purity rings are FOR young adults.  It doesn't matter how old you are as long as you are old enough to understand what you are promising.  And you said in your question a purity ring, so I don't know why people are freakin' out about the promise ring thing.  I knew what you were talking about.  They have many names: Promise ring, chastity ring, purity ring.  I had one that said "True Love Waits" around the outside.
