I want to get a sciphone D990i, does this allow me regular internet access like an iphone?

It has java 2.0, but there is another phone (wiphone) with windows 6.0 and wifi. Do I need that phone to access internet? Or do they both do it? I'm confused by all these different iclones...

both of them have internet... The d990i has GPRS Wap internet so interface is a little different. The w99i internet interface is same as computer as it is like a pda phone...
