I'm looking to get a small pet and I'm totally lost as to what to get. I do have some past experience with a few small pets, so here is a list of ones that I don't want. I also don't want anything that's a large investment, and it would be nice if the pet could use the Chinchilla cage that I already own. (Also just to let you know I have 2 dogs and a Beta Fish already)

Don't Want/Have already Considered:

1) Chinchilla

2) Guinea Pigs/Hamsters

3) Rabbit

4) Ferret

5) Turtle/Other small Reptiles

6) Cats/Dogs

  1. A small dog for comfort and love

  2. Get a gerbil! there kinda like hamsters, but you might like them. A ferret might be a cool animal, or any kind of bird that you can get at a local pet store hope this will help with your pet troubles .

  3. gerbils?

    rats?

    mouse?

    tarantula! :)

  4. A  Mouse is a option.

  5. Well, there isn't much left to pick from except..

    Large snake

    Parrot

    Small bird(s)

    Iguana

    Mice

    Gerbil

    Sugar Glider

    Hedgehog

    Rats

Though if you get the large snake I wouldn't suggest getting rats UNLESS you were going to feed them to him.

    Good luck.

  6. Well, if you want the pet to be able to use the chinchilla cage, you need to get a chinchilla or ferret or guinea pig.  What else will fit in a cage like that?  And also if you want a small pet all the considerable things are listed already...

  7. the only animals able to use a chinchilla cage would be chinchillas, ferrets, or rabbits.

  8. Birds, gerbils, rats.

  9. if rats don't scare of gross you out, they make great pets. they are adorable, they are social and friendly, they are easy to take care of (so they make great first-time pets) and they aren't a long term commitment because they only live about 4 years. However, if you get one, get another because if they don't have a rat friend they will be depressed.

  10. You could get a bird. You would have to get a bird cage for it though. They are very messy so you might not want one.
