  1. get an mtx amp and mtx woofers!! or jl audio amp and jl audio woofers!! if you want low price get that c**p called sony xplod lol..

  2. The voltage will always be around 12, as that is what the car's electrical system runs on.

You want to know what wattage to look for!

You could look for a 800-1000watt amp with some 10 or 12inch subs that fit your price range.

Assuming you are only looking for more bass?

If you want more output from speakers and all, you should look into speaker amps.

  3. your amp voltage will be able to take anything from 10 volts to 16 volts. what matters is your vehicles electrical system. the more volts the car has, the more watts the amp will throw.

subwoofers do not use volts unless you want to blow them. look for RMS watts.

look around for subs with dual voice coils. if you want to use 2, i recommend you starting with dual 4 ohm voice coils. with this, u will be able to wire them down to 1 ohm final load for the amp. then look for an amplifier that is STABLE at 1 ohm load and will provide the recommended rms watts to the subwoofers.

do not use a speaker amp. use a mono block or a class-d amp. these are usually stable at one ohm and should not get too hot.

since it seems you want to have a SPL sound system *(to just get loud)*... i would recommend you making your own ported subwoofer box tunned to 32Hz if you want to be loud and have good sound quality.

if you just want to be loud and dont care about sound quality, tune the box to 33~38Hz. this will be a little louder and gain u a few more db's.
