  1. If your local hardware store will sell it to you, buy paint stripper, if they won't go to an auto paint store, ask for aircraft stripper (this stuff rules, it takes the paint off of anything)  If this doesn't work for you try sandblasting it, a pro will do it for about 25 bucks, if this isn't an option buy 80 grit sand paper and get to work, then go to 180, don't forget to prime it before you paint it and don't leave it outside with no paint.

  2. what kind of bike? bicycle? a piece of sand paper and allot of free time, have fun!

  3. Paint remover and then use wet sandpaper and elbow grease.

  4. you do not have to take all the paint off your bike to paint it nicely.  sand it smooth, the smoother the base coat the nicer the finish.  tell you this I am assuming you are taking my advice using the original paint as your base coat (sanded lightly though).

  5. hydrochloric acid. it works like a charm!

  6. This depends on the frame material.  Hardware stripper paste is fine for steel, titanium, or aluminum but with RUIN carbon fiber.  Be sure to use gloves as it will burn your skin.  Usually takes 2 to 3 coats.  Use steel wool with the last coat.

The best way with all materials is to have your frame media blasted by a competent shop.  Link to a local one below.  Does not harm carbon fiber and renders a paint-ready finish on any bicycle frame material.

  7. Use paint thinner. and if u dont have any just pour a can of pepsi onto your bike everyday for about a week and just leave it there. The paint should come right off!
