  1. Here is a nice little inexpensive guitar for you. Don't think that it is cheap quality either. The price is around $99 but the sound and playability are perfect.

They have different prices. I love the looks and the quality. I had a chance to play with it at my shop.

Here is the link....its worth it to check it out

  2. theres several sizes for accoustics...you should choose a guitar corresponding with your size. I recommend a spannish made guitar for quality, but i'm not too sure about the pricing. As for color, some orange ones or black ones look pretty nice. I've seen a green one that looks really cool too. for beginners, it is recommended that the high E, B and G string are plastic so they don't hurt your fingers as much. however, seeing as how you have some experience with electric guitar, all metal strings provide a better sound quality. good luck choosing your guitar!

  3. not too expensive and good quality, pretty tall order!

any guitar shops in your area? that would be the place to start.

remember! a Chinese guitar is a Chinese guitar!

and that covers all the big names! Yamaha,,Ibanaz and many many step children of Gibson, Fender and Martin just to name a few, are all made there, not that there bad guitars, it's just there made on a production line and you have to go to a guitar shop to find the right one, now don't get me wrong Gibson and the others build American guitars by some very skilled luthiers but the price tag may hurt you, if you can find a seagull dealer, Canadian built but real nice at around $400+ depending  on model you may find it to be quite nice, I play a d55 Guild built in Tacoma WA. ( actually owned by Fender), but I picked it out at my favorite guitar shop, and cause I'm such a good costumer I talked him down $1700 w/case and goodies, and there ain't nothing cute about it! ..It is what it  is!
