I want to get better at feild hockey and make some goals!!!?

okay, so im in eighth grade at a tiny little catholic school, and its my last year here. and i play field hockey for my school team, i am okay at it but i wish i could get better and prove to my coach that i am worth putting on one of the major postitions rather than being in my normal position of back (which is where u guard the goalie and the goalie cage) but last year she started putting me on the forward line (where u try and score goals) and i did really well and scored a goal my first time in that position, but tht was my only goal ever!! but im afraid tht his year since no one else my age is gonna be on the back position tht she's gonna put me back in my same position (right back) and i hate it!!!! i like being in all the action!!!! plz!! plz!! plz!! someone give me some tips on some cool moves or some other ways to show my coach tht im a good field hockey player!!!!!!!!

  1. okay well first what you need to do is to work on your skills like pull backs flicks , liftting over the stick.  dodges. practice your sprints. get more aggressive and remember to pass very well and then also ask to play some mid field its the best of both worlds. and ask during practice so you can show that you are really good enough to play that position. and some times ask to play the let side because it will help you with gettting your feet around to the ball and make you a better player alltogether. also remeber to call out for passes and call to people when you are passing. it will help not only you bur you team as well. and never try to get in fights with your teammates it will ruin your game allways stay focused and always prescan before you pass and try things like a one meter pass of a spin move to show some more difficulty then the other girls.and run a little. not like miles just like a mile and then some sprints and they will help improve your agility. and you will show the coach that you deserve the spot. and be some what  of a leader for your team since you are one of the oldest players    


  2. ok first............practice  every day.........for 1 hour

    it will help you get better and every day go for a 20 minute jog sooo you wont get as tired in games.........

    i dont know any cool moves but use the tips i gave you
