Berlusconi, Chief Executive Officer and owner of the Rossoneri giants, has remarked on the traditions at Milan and his faith in the head coach of the Diavolo outfit.
The Rossoneri outfit have not been having the best of campaigns so far this season, and from the start of the transfer window, they have come under criticism by fans, pundits and former players. The Rossoneri outfit have been used to making it to the headlines,
with each and every decision being scrutinised. However, the extent and the kind of the criticism levied on to the team has changed of late and the President of the club has felt that it is high time that he needs to have a meeting with the players of his
side.
He was talking to the Milan Channel and during his conversation with the official television channel of the Rossoneri outfit, Berlusconi went on to discuss a number of topics that are doing the rounds in the media. Nevertheless, he felt it best to clarify
the purpose of his visit. He was clear in the logic and rationale behind his visit and remarked that his purpose was to show solidarity with the team in the tough times and mentioned that he wanted to get close to the club once again.
He further went on to state his belief in the current Italian manager at the club, and felt it best to comment on the positives. He remarked that despite the current times that are shadowing the club, there should not be haste in forgetting what the former
Cagliari head coach has achieved at the club. Allegri won the Scudetto in his first attempt at the club, but fell short of the eventual winners, Juventus, at the back end of last season.
Berlusconi went on to state:
“We start again from today, I want to get close to Milan again and get back what I had lost over these years. If Allegri is here then it is because I have faith in him. This is an unfortunate period, but let us not forget what he has won. Milan have a precise
tradition. In 26 years, we’ve changed the Coach during the course of a season on only two occasions. We are serious people, we have a good relationship with the tactician.”
