I want to get faster at sprints. Any ideas?

I plan on running college track, mostly the 200 possibly the 100. But I need to know what i should do to get faster at them both. Should i workout or not? Just tell me any good ideas.

  1. Working out is a must for any athlete. Do some weight training to strengthen your muscles and train daily to be the best in your college. If possible identify a coach and train under him.

  2. I would say to do a lot of leg exercises and weights. Also sprint A LOT.
