I want to travel from North Norfolk (Norwich or King's Lynn I know well, but other suggestions for bus/train stations are welcome) to the Beautiful Days festival at Escot Park, Ottery St Mary in Devon.

I want to go by train or by bus in the cheapest possible manner.

I am going to the Beautiful Days festival (which is why I want to go to Devon) from 15th-17th August this year with my boyfriend.

Please, please help me? I am clueless as to how to get there.

  1. I went to Cornwall a few weeks ago, I got a train from Norwich for £12 then the train to Cornwall, this train went through Devon but i'm not exactly sure where abouts in Devon, that cost another £70.

  2. I should start with an email to info@otterytourism.org.uk if I were you. They'll tell you of the nearest bus and train stations (information which seems sadly lacking on their web site) so you can then use this information with National Rail Enquiries http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ and with National Express Coaches. http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/ind...

Those two seem to be the most likely options. Have fun!

PS - get your lazy boyfriend to do the bookings. I don't see why you should do all the work.
