  1. The strike is fast fading but, if it should still be going on, inquire at the Eurolines bus office (in the rue St. Jacques)  about a bus to Lyon.

  3. i traveled a lot by train last year when i went to france there was the stike going on but it was fine. talk to the people at the train station

  4. well i'm french, i can tell u that today ( tuesday )  i hear that there would be a general strike tomorow, that the president will try to find a solution to end this stupid problem, but today, only 25% of train personnals refused to work, but on 26th they  will be less, maybe the strike wil be over, but dont worry, there is  a "minimum service", so u wil have a train  for sure even if the strike is still on. personnally i think that all will be over on 26th.
