Question:

I want to get in shape?

well im a 14 year old girl..

and its not like im fat, im actually really skinny

but im just REALLY out of shape lol

i do like nothing all day.. i know thats bad

but i want to get into shape and tone up a bit before school starts (in 2 weeks)

and obviously ill keep it up even after school begins.

so i need like a workout plan or somthing haha

any help?

  1. The most important qualities to have here are:

    1) Motivation

    2) Self-Confidence

    3) Time

    2 weeks is enough time to get started on a good exercise routine. In 2 months you'll be toned.

    If you want to be private, then you may want to work out at home. Push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups (you'll need a pull-up bar), and all those other crappy exercises you did in elementary school can be done in your room with your door closed and will be your best bet. Also, try standing and squating about 30 times in 60 seconds. It's really tough and a great way to work your thighs!

    It may be hard to start some of these exercises. For example, you may not be able to do one pull-up. Don't worry though! I couldn't either! Instead just try and lift yourself up for at least 30 seconds though. With diligence (and not giving up), you'll be doing a few of these in no time.

    If you want a companion, you'll need to hit up your friend and tell her how great it would be to look fit. Then you'll probably have to convince her to walk or run a couple miles every day (1 mile walking = about 20 min).

    Lastly, do this whenever you feel "bored." It may not be the funnest thing to do, but it's a sight better than not doing anything at all!


  2. run a little bit every day. trust me i just started like 3 weeks ago, and i feel so much better. Then once school starts just run on the weekends, and do some weight lifting during the week.
