  1. As  I mentioned in another reply to you, there is a large community connected to the former French possessions in the Caribbean. I admit that I know little about this community other than the restaurants run by it members.

    Probalby the best way to go about meeting fellow Dominicans is to head check out those restaurants since they are usually run by folks from the islands.
