I want to get into acting and modeling anyone have any ideas, resources to get in?

Does your city have a local/community theatre? You could probably go there and ask for an audition.

See if there are any modeling agencies or casting centers near where you live. It will cost a few hundred dollars, probably, but you might get some work out of it.

Don't get discouraged if something doesn't happen right away; it takes a lot of time and perseverance to get into that business. If you keep at it, it could pay off.

im in canada too,

im not into modeling but i am into photography and shooting photos of models.

what i did was take a set of photos and send them to every pro photographer in canada. i got good and bad feeback and a few breaks.

you could do the same with your tapes/photos.
