I want to get into childcare what should I put on my resume?

I really want to work in childcare.I don't have experience I have just baby sat years ago and I spend time with my family who have younger children.I'm applying for a traineeship.Any ideas on what I should put on my resume? Thanks.

  1. Don't listen to the first post....just say what you have said  here.

    I think that you would be one of the cases where some "intent" would be good for your power points,

    . Because of my experience as a babysitter I want to further my growth as a childcare provider by etc, etc.

    . My job as a babysitter prepared me for the position of teachers aide by etc. etc

    This is just an example very quickly (late for something).....be honest and use action words such as developed, observed, initiated, etc.  There is a list of these on resume builder sites all over the place. Since you are applying for trainee they don't expect you to have a lot of acumen in the field.......you have a case where a bit of personal statements and intent would be more than acceptable.....also, put how long you worked for these people and be very detailed about your responsibilities....that's what I would look for>>>>>You've got this!!!! Don't lie!!!!
