I want to get into dirtbiking?

I am fourteen years old and my family has always been into getting toys, my dad has had 3 Quad Racers and a Banshee, my brother has a Honda CR250, and my other brother has a Kawasaki (don't remember what type). I have a Yamaha YZ80 big wheel (I know sounds small or whatever). My dad has been talking about getting me into one of the local dirt biking school so I am more familiar with how to ride and more efficient at shifting, etc. I have been just doing random stuff for about 3 years now with this bike. My Grandparents live in the middle of the desert (AZ), so we go down there and bike around. So I was thinking after this school thing (if I do it), that I could start racing (my dad's plans too, I believe) so I was wondering how I could get into it? I was thinking about selling my dirtbike and getting a quad (more appealing to me), would that be any difference? Thanks!

That would depend on what state you live in?

My husband races dirk bikes in Southern California in District 37 Lacern Valley.

u should sell the dirt bike and get a quad becaues u can race them to

quads are never as fun as bike.. my oppinion.. if you get a quad, get a polaris... just go down to  a local MX track and race.. they always have openings
