  1. Hi, I recently got married. We did everything by ourselves at my mom's house.I don't know what is your budget. But from my experience we expended $140.00(license and judge), only on clerical fees. My dress cost me $ 100.00 in Davi's Bridal, shoes expect to pay $45.00 on DSW my sister in law made my head piece purchased materials from Michael's for about $10.00 his tuxedo, shirt, tie and shoes cost aroud $250.00 5 table rental and 30 chairs rental fee is $8 per table and $3.50 per chair. Buy the table clothes at Kmart. My aunt is a chef so we spend around $500.00 in food and wine at Cosco(Our menue was filet mignon chicken spinash rolls mush potatoes and a gourmet salad).  All glass and silverware is better to buy instead of renting it wil cost you less, buy it at IKEA  also you can buy nice center pieces. My husband and I did not have alot of money but at least we had a nice small wedding which we can remember it forever. Cake top and serving silverware and flute champagne cupsbetter to buy at Macy's 1 day sale ( Lenox for $ 89.00 total). Congratualitons and don't worry however you do it all it matters is that you two are getting married. The most expensive thing in my wedding was the wedding cake ........ I cann't tell you the price but I enjoy it every piece.

  2. The Marriage license fee is $30.00 cash if either applicant is a Delaware resident; $60.00 if neither applicant is a Delaware resident.

$30.00 Ceremony Fee for all Civil Marriage Ceremonies for Delaware residents performed at the Office of The Clerk of the Peace if either applicant is a Delaware resident; $60.00 if neither applicant is a Delaware resident. T he bride and groom must provide at least two (2) witnesses, at least 18 years of age, at the time of their wedding ceremony. The bride and groom, and their two (2) witnesses must show a valid photo ID (Driver's license, DMV ID, Passport, Military ID) when checking in at the time of their ceremony. Wedding Ceremonies are performed at the Clerk of the Peace office on Wednesdays by appointment only.

  3. Well you can always get a marriage license for like $40-50. But if you want to have a wedding you can do some really simple stuff; like get married in a park, Just have a small rented sound system, and have just little snacks. If you want a whole wedding just e-mail me with your budget and I can help you plan a great wedding..

Hope your wedding is the one of your dreams..

  4. Hi, check out www.shellyleppertdesigns.com. They have wedding dresses you can rent or buy cheap, boys tuxes that rent for like 15.00 for the whole outfit, and they have other wedding accessories that you can rent for your wedding. I heard they will work with you if you do not have alot of money.

  5. Ignore Tasha...she ran off to Vegas one weekend and didn't tell her fiance and thinks he is being a cry baby and the other girl thought she was wrong.

Anyhow, you should call your courthouse about that. The costs vary widely for a marriage license. The judge, whichever you can get to marry you and your fiance usually accepts "Donattions." So basically, whatever you can give for his time...which you have to give something of course. It is the cheapest way. Good luck and congrats!

  6. Call your local courthouse ( in the county you live in) and ask. I don't think it is very much. Marriage licenses are usually 20-40 dollars and then I think you might have to pay for some sort of ceremony.

  7. Actually, Tasha might be right.

In Florida, my marriage license cost $93 ($30 would have been waived if we'd had the couple's counceling withing the last 12 months, but we didn't, and were in a hurry.... the $30 extra bucks were worth it.)

What I did to find out the costs and requirements was google "getting married in florida" and "florida marriage requirements"....

    Do the same for Delaware....

  8. A marriage license is usually around $50, and there's also a fee for the court ceremony (probably no more than $100). Your best bet is for YOU, yourself, call the place you're looking to get married at and find out all the details.

  9. Most marriage licenses are about $50. You can get married by a judge for free. Ask your town's clerk for info.

    Good luck and congratulations!!!

Here is the link to the info you need.  $35 for the license.

    Hope this helps.
