I know that some of the resorts in Jamaica will not have spring breakers the last week of March beginning of April. Will teh spots outside of the resorts still have a lot of spring breakers? Such as Margarittaville, Rick's Cafe, the tours, ect.

  1. Most of the bigger resorts have a policy that they don't allow Spring Break students.  There will be some at the places you mentioned but it is not likely to be a problem.

If you know which resort you plan to stay at then go to TripAdvisor.com and look under the amenities for their policy on Spring Break.  If you don't know where you plan to stay then you should still go to that website and look for your perfect resort.  You can also go to the Super Clubs website.  This is the company that owns most of the better known resorts on the island and in the Caribbean.

  2. It sounds like you are getting married in Negril! Congrats it is a beautiful place! I'm sure that if you stay somewhere "expensive/(resort not hotel)" the spring breakers won't be there. We stayed at a really awesome resort called sunset at the palms and it was all inclusive resort where you stay in cabins. There is also a Sandals resort in Negril. Both places offer weddings on site as well!

  3. No spring breakers, great time of year.

  4. The last week of March there will still be students in Negril and places like Margaritaville and Rick's will be full of them.  I would look into April more- usually be the second week they are pretty much all gone.  The first week, there are still some lingering, but they should be gone by the second week.  As a native Californian living in Jamaica- March is the time I stay out of the popular spots, that is for sure.  Check out a friend of mine's website- www.NegrilJamaicaWeddings.com if you need help planning.  I'm sure she'd be willing.  She's great.  Either way, enjoy Negril.  I do!

  5. They'll all be gone by then.
