  1. Minis cost about as much as regular horses.  If you already have one, take your expenses and multiply by two!

  2. minis do not need grain, my farrier cuts a deal on trims for ponies $15 less the horses.

add one more mini it is like having 3 big horses  2 mini = 1 horse

  3. You have three horses already. Why are you completely clueless about how much they cost? Also, you obviously arent supporting the horses, so stop buying them. Ever heard that old saying; "If you have to ask how much, you cant afford it"

  4. $95 farrier

    $75 feed

    $225 miscellaneous

    for one month

  5. The thing about all equines, be they a draft, a mini, a regular, a donkey or a mule, they all cost the same to keep.  The only difference will be feed costs.  A farrier will charge the same for a mini as a regular horse, so figure on $30-40 for a trim every 6 weeks.  Vaccines cost the same.  De-wormer, you can get by with 1/2 a tube every 2 months, so figure on $8 every 2 months.

Mini's at least tend to be air ferns.  They don't require much in the way of hay or grain.  Emergency vet bills and regular visits will cost the same though for your mini as they do for your other horses, so keep that in mind.
