You will have to make time every day to give it a wash with salt water. I used hot water with sea salt. It will hurt a bit if you sleep on your stomach or wear clothes that rub against the belly area. Other than that, there's not much else you'll need to know. Just be sure you're going to a reputable place and that they sterilise the belly area and needle before piercing.

afterwards, go buy Bactine spray from riteaid or cvs or walmart.

it'll make the pain go away for some hours, i promise. and it cleans it.

make sure you spray it on 2-3 times a day.

and wait 3 months before you change your ring so it wont get infected.

Be prepared it does hurt but it also looks cute after you get it done.  Just make sure you clean properly to prevent infection.
