  1. I'm telling you this right now it's going to be hard.  Do you work mornings or evenings?  I worked fulltime on the evening shift and went to school full-time during the day.  After 4 months I was completely burnt out and I no other choice but to cut back my hours.  When you finish your education it will pay off in the long run.  Trust me, being 23 and in nursing school and not being able to buy clothes killed me.  I just had to pay my bills and for food.

There are also part-time options for school if full-time work is mandatory for your lifestyle.

    Good luck!

  2. you go to a trade school and join the part time VN program, i went to fulltime my sister worked fulltime at night an went to school part time. its really hard!!! but it can be done! i went to school with girls who had kids an worked an went fulltime.

  3. Anything is possible.  It just depends on how resourceful you can get.  Consider moving in with a relative while you are in school to save money and cut living expenses.

  4. Its possilbe.  A lot of Community Colleges have the LPN program.  You could do online classes through your community college for the basics (English, Math....) and then when it comes time for clinicals you can go at night and on the weekends.

  5. I did that just last year, and all I can say is it is possible. No major bills to pay, but I wanted the challenge of working 38 hrs/wk while going to an LPN class. People say they don't know how I do it but it's really easy! Just complete your requirements and know your limitations (study time and what not). Don't expect to get the highest grades, but as long as you know what you're made of, you can do all things when you focus!

  6. I work full time doing a group home live-in weekends position.  Do a job search for such a position.  The pay is usually about 1200 a month for myself and the hours are from friday night to monday morning every other weekend.  It's been the only way for me to pay the bills and go to school full time.
