I want to get my nails done?

i want long manicured nails and im thinking of getting them done because im going to my cusins wedding soon but will it ruin my natural nails and is it a good idea for a 13 year old to get it done??

Please do not go with fake nails they are really bad for you, and will mess up your nails at such a young age. Go with natural French manicure. It is classy and matches what ever you'll wear. Good luck.

yes, it does mess up your nails.

but i love getting my nails down and getting pampered.

if you really care about messing your nails up, just get the ones from Walmart that you glue on yourself.

of course they dont last as long, but they look the same and they wont mess up your nails.

You can just get a nice manicure - they will file and shape your natural nails and polish them. Or get a french manicure (those are white on the top and nude color on the rest of the nail).

Getting acrylic nails can really damage your natural nails and they will take a a good year or so to grow back right. Also depending on how fast your nails grow you could have to get them filled in every two - four weeks or they look awful and break and hurt........... and that can get costly.

Also if you are not used to really long nails they can tend to get in the way at first - so if you are in sports it could be a waste of time and money.

yeah, it usually ruins your real nails, for a good while...then it grows out and it's back to normal...if you wanna get em done, i say, why not =) its fun
