  1. Yes, its a good car.  So far has not had reliability issues but its only been out a couple months.

As for SVT's obnoxious remarks...the G8 is built in Austrailia, not Mexico.  Burro tonto.

  2. the G8 is great but GXP is better

    i mean the G8 GXP

  3. A couple things to keep in mind:

    (1) The 2005 and 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GTOs are on Consumer Reports' 2008 list of Used Cars to Avoid.

    (2) The Pontiac Grand Prix is on AutoOnInfo.net's list of Automobiles with a Worst Engine (with a score of -.75 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00) with a Worst Overall Reliability.

    (3) The Pontiac Grand Prix is on AutoOnInfo.net's list of Automobiles with a Worst Engine (with a score of -.50 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00) with a Worst Overall Reliability.

    (4) AutoOnInfo.net's detailed reliability and durability studies suggest that a typical 3-year-old Pontiac is as troublesome to own as a typical 27-year-old Honda and a typical 20-year-old Toyota.

    (5) GM's Pontiac line has a 2008 Used Car Reliability Measure of -.51 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00. For reference, the Hyundai line has a 2008 Used Car Reliability Measure of +.20, the Honda line, +.83, and the Toyota line, +.84.

To help select a reliable vehicle, click the last two links below. The first provides a reliability history of most vehicles sold in the U.S. since 1987 and the second lists the best of 2008 and the worst of 2008.

  4. Just another worthless piece of Detroit iron, except that it probably comes from Mexico. NO MAS! NO MAS !
